ULM-D™ exists to restore leadership to those who were taught to perform it.

Our mission is to make leadership identity accessible, buildable, and grounded in care, not power.

We do this by offering a method of excavation that helps people reclaim their own way of leading, shift how decisions are made, and disrupt the structures that reward performance over truth.

ULM-D™ offers the tools, space, and structure to lead from what’s real, even when that means contradiction, slowness, or refusal.

The mosaic behind the mosaic

This didn’t begin as a framework.

It began as a tension between what I saw poeple knew deep down, and what they were expected to perform.
ULM-D is what I uncovered when I stopped trying to fix myself and started tracing where my leadership came from.
From refusal, resilience, and the deep, restored belief that care can be structure.

About Me

I’m Carmen.
I work with people, not to help them become better leaders, but to help them become less estranged from the kind of leadership they already carry.

ULM-D™ was never meant to be a brand.
It emerged when I stopped performing leadership and started tracing its roots in me: through care, contradiction, sometimes refusal, and what I simply couldn’t ignore anymore.

I hold Black Belt Six Sigma and Lean certifications, 
but ULM-D™ doesn’t live there.
It lives where structure meets story.
Where memory becomes method.
Where identity can be reclaimed, even if it was never fully granted.

Why this exists

ULM-D™ is the framework I wish I had when I realised I was burning out not because I was weak, but because I was asked to lead in ways that weren’t mine.

This is for those who’ve felt that ache.
Who’ve felt misaligned.
Who’ve noticed they’re over-adapting, over-performing, over-functioning. And still under-recognised.

This is not a fix but rather a method of composition.
You already carry the fragments.

ULM-D™ - for people and collectives reclaiming their leadership identity on their own terms. Deep, poetic, and free for justice-rooted work.

They’re different streams, but the root is the same: Structure must serve care.
